Software Engineer 2

• Build and standardize high quality, performant, reliable and cost-effective distributed data ingestion services across M365 workload teams.  
• Modernize telemetry usage and infrastructure to fulfill the needs in AIOps scenarios.  
• Analyze and drive telemetry infrastructure COST optimization for all M365 teams.  
• Work with Trust teams to drive standardization and enforcement efforts across M365 to meet Compliance & Privacy regulations.   
• Design and build highly efficient, aggregated, cost-effective data pipelines to generate high-value data insights to benefit service quality improvements and COST saving.  
• Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of telemetry infrastructure and ensure quality of service.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• • OR equivalent experience.
• Solidcommunication skills. (Good written English, Avg+ oral English)  
• Good knowledge and experience of backend engineering. 
• Basic knowledge and experience of distributed systems.  
• Basic knowledge and experience of service operation for large scale distributed systems, especially AIOps technologies.  
• Basic knowledge and experience of industry well known telemetry standards and solutions.  
• Basic knowledge and experience of big data big data platform technologies.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
